OUR STORY
Life Cycle Urns and Life Cycle Keepsake Jewellery are proudly designed in Australia with our head office based in Melbourne, Victoria.
Our products are designed by Life Cycle Urns company founder and local Australian designer, Asha Martin.
Asha grew up in a professional ceramics studio with an arts based Steiner education. After travelling the world she returned to her home town of Adelaide to study the craft of upholstery. It was here she won a scholarship to relocate to Melbourne to continue her studies at RMIT in Funiture Design.
In 2002 Mercedes Benz Australia sponsered Asha in her final year at RMIT to design a chair based on the SLK.
After successfully graduating in 2002 Asha opened her own upholstery business, Nucleus Designs. Upholstering furniture for commercial fits outs such Horse Bizarre, Riverland and Auction Rooms cafe in North Melbourne to name just a few.
She sold the business in 2008 to get married and start a family. While raising two young boys she started designing again, this time for the funeral industry.
Life Cycle Urns was born in 2011. Our designs have been exhibited at the Sydney International Jewellery Fair, the Australasian Cemeteries and Crematoria conference and more recently the Australian Funeral Expo in 2014.
Our products will be on show at U.K National Funeral Exhibition in June 2015 and also at the NFDA convention in the U.S.A in October 2015.
Life Cycle products are now available in Australia, New Zealand, America, Chile, U.K and Singapore.
